An explosion occurred Tuesday morning at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

The electrical blast occurred at around 8:40 a.m. inside a "ramp level maintenance shop" within the airport according to a Hartsfield-Jackson news release.

The incident led to the transit hub being briefly evacuated, CNN reported.

"The cause of this explosion is currently under investigation. There were no reported injuries, and there was no fire," the airport confirmed in a statement. "There has been minor property damage. Passengers on the north side of Concourse D were evacuated to Concourse E. Arriving aircraft have been reassigned to other available gates."

The Atlanta Fire Department has since given the all-clear according to the airport.

Power outages remain in certain areas throughout concourse D, where the blast occurred, however, passengers have already begun to return to the area of the airport, CNN reported.

Shortly after the evacuation, the airport turned power off to Concourse D as a precaution.
The incident doesn't appear to be terrorism-related according to FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett told CNN.

Emmett added that the FBI was not investigating the event, and that local Atlanta police were further investigating the blast.
