'7th Heaven' Star Stephen Collins Molested as Recently As 2007, Says Wife

"7th Heaven" star Stephen Collins, who purportedly admitted to molesting three underage girls in a recently leaked tape, used his fame to gain the trust of one of the girl's parents as recently as 2007, his wife now claims.

TMZ reported Monday that it had obtained an email that Collins' estranged wife, Faye Grant, 57, sent him last year amidst their still-ongoing divorce proceedings. In it, she claims he used his fame to befriend and gain the trust of the parents of one of the victims in 2007. Once he had it, he allegedly used it to engineer alone time with the daughter.

"Prosecutors love 'special circumstances,'" she wrote to him, threateningly.

The email is just one of two penned by Grant in recent years.

The other, obtained by the New York Daily News, was sent to one of the victims.

According to the Daily News, the woman said to have triggered the NYPD investigation into Collins' alleged abuse sent an anonymous letter to Grant in 2000, and eventually contacted the police in 2012. Grant sent an email to the woman shortly before police interviewed her.

"Stephen lied when confronted 12 years ago. He said he had a hole in his holey jeans, as was the style then, and that you 'must have' seen his genitalia one time," Grant said in her email to the woman.

The woman is said to be a relative of Collins' first wife Marjorie Weinman. She claims Collins tried to put her hand on his penis when she was 14 years old and visiting the couple at their apartment in Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood.

"I do not think he has allowed himself, or perhaps he is not capable of experiencing the pain he has caused children," Grant wrote, adding that she "required" Collins to attend Sexaholics Anonymous and attend marriage counseling at church.

Collins has seen major career fallout in the wake of the leaked tape in which he allegedly confesses to his past abuse.

He was cut from his upcoming role in "Scandal," as well as his role in the upcoming sequel to the "Ted" film. Collins' representative at the Agency for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills has dropped him, and both the UP TV and TV Guide networks have temporarily suspended playing syndicated episodes of "7th Heaven." He has also resigned from the board of the Screen Actors Guild.
