El Salvador President Takes Blame for Migrant Deaths, Offends Leftists

It goes without saying that, as far the left is concerned, the USA is solely responsible for the millions of illegals crossing our southern border and the hundreds of thousands of ‘refugees’ claiming asylum. They never quite specify how it’s Uncle Sam’s fault that much of Latin America is deciding to become criminals to enter the U.S., it just is.

Maybe the left considers the U.S. an “attractive nuisance.”

Findlaw.com defines attractive nuisance in civil law as, “An attractive nuisance is something that is so interesting that it would entice a child into entering another's property.” Only in this instance it is a nation that is so desirable as a place to live that it attracts approximately 29 million illegal immigrants.

The president of El Salvador just dealt this ‘it’s all Uncle Sam’s fault’ doctrine a setback. Fox News reports Pres. Nayib Bukele — who took office this summer — has broken from the narrative. While discussing the photograph of the father and daughter who drowned while trying to cross the border illegally, he told the BBC, “His country is to blame for the deaths. He said his government is responsible for fixing the problems that have forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee in the first place.”

There goes Bukele’s chance to be nominated as man-of-the-year by The Resistance!

Bukele continued, “We can blame any other country but what about our blame? What country did they flee? Did they flee the United States? They fled El Salvador, they fled our country. It is our fault.”

He contends lack of jobs, security, education, and healthcare are reasons his citizens and the citizens of other countries head north.

And now it appears thousands more will be heading north to join the illegals already in-country.

The Associated Press tells us that California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill that makes California the first state in the Union to jump off a cliff and offer free (for everyone except taxpayers) healthcare for all illegals 25-years-old and under.

I don’t know how well Verizon works in Latin America, but I can tell you the grapevine functions at a speed that approaches 5G! Thousands more will be coming north to take advantage of this latest leftist giveaway. Someone had best tell the fire marshals to start monitoring emergency rooms for violations of the maximum occupancy limits.

“President Donald Trump has called the move ‘crazy,’” which means the decision is right up Newsom’s alley. He and the great minds in the legislature have just make the entire state of California a genuine ‘attractive nuisance’ for Latin America and points south.
