Every day we are learning more about how difficult it is to participate in a scandal if you’re a member in good standing of the left. Harvey Weinstein’s bathrobe was sealed shut for years by a volunteer cover-up that concealed his alleged serial sexual assaults. Harvey was too reliable as a political donor to do anything that might constrict the flow of cash.

Besides, he was also too powerful in Hollywood to risk a career speaking out regarding this lout. His politics were socially approved even if his behavior wasn’t. It took a woman whose career was shattered and had nothing to lose to expose this disgusting bully.

Quid Pro Joe Biden’s son Hunter can make almost a million dollars peddling influence with his father and the Opposition Media gets its undies in a bunch when anyone questions this behavior. Objecting to that smelly arrangement is a “personal attack” that is deemed out of bounds by the leftist stenographers in the media.

Child molester Jeffery Epstein hob-knobbed with many wealthy leftists before he met his untimely end in a New York City jail, but the focus of the media has been to try and weld him on to President Trump at the hip. That effort ran out of steam when the OpMedia couldn’t get by the fact that Trump banned Epstein from all Trump properties due to his pervy behavior.

Now Fox News brings to our attention another case of the left’s selective scandal outrage. Ed Buck was recently arrested in California and “charged with operating a drug house after a third man reportedly suffered an overdose inside his West Hollywood home last [month] — and survived. Two other men overdosed and died at his home in July 2017 and January 2018, respectively.”

Naturally you’re asking who the heck is Ed Buck? Is he any kin to Uncle Buck? Not hardly. Buck is a member in good standing of two protected classes: Big leftist donors and homosexuals. And that explains much of why most of our readers have never heard of Mr. Buck.

Charlie Hurt of the Washington Times asked the obvious question during an appearance on "Fox and Friends," "Can you imagine if he was a big Republican megadonor? We would see coverage wall-to-wall on every network about this guy. As it is, everyone's like 'nothing here, move along, no story.'"

Justice Brett Kavanaugh is attacked more than once over fantasy sexual assaults that exist only in the minds of one pathetic accuser and another rumor monger. No confirmation from independent witnesses. No supporting evidence.

There’s a wealth of evidence in the Buck case, but for some reason the Buck keeps passing.

Two black men died from drug overdoses in his home separated by an interval of 18 months. Last month a third victim appeared and Buck was finally charged with “three counts of battery and injecting the alleged third victim with methamphetamine,” but only with regard to that single victim.

No charges have been announced in regard to the earlier deaths.

Here is a hint as to why. Fox News found, “Buck contributed more than $500,000 to Democratic groups, including $1,500 to the Obama campaign and $2,950 to the Hillary Clinton campaign.”

Hurt concludes there are “real questions” that must be answered regarding what appears to be special treatment for Buck. The questions that have already been answered are why the OpMedia hasn’t covered the story.
