Four-star Gen. Michael Hayden, the former director of the CIA and the NSA under former President George W. Bush, says the Arab states and Israel appear to be joining in a "strategic convergence" to counter Iran's drive to dominate the entire Middle East.

Hayden tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview: "You've got them both [the Israelis and Arabs] seeing reasons to cooperate as their interests converge vis-à-vis the Iranians. It gives opportunity for progress here, if anyone has the political vision to take advantage of it."
