Incredibly, a decade has already passed since a chance encounter with candidate Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign transformed an unknown plumber from the Toledo, Ohio, suburbs into an international media sensation.

His name was Joe. "Joe the Plumber" became a household name and a symbol of America's blue-collar middle class after he challenged the presidential candidate on the front lawn of his neighbor's yard.
