The Twitter account for the hacking website WikiLeaks appeared to mock the Democratic Party for picking Hillary Clinton to represent them.

The site published emails hacked from the Democratic National Committee throughout the campaign. It said the emails showed that the DNC was biased toward Clinton over her primary opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Hacked emails showed DNC staffers discussing how to expedite Sanders' exit from the primary. President-elect Donald Trump's campaign attempted to gain Sanders' supporters, saying the leaks showed that the DNC had treated him unfairly.

The site's co-founder, Julian Assange, posted a message that said the site did not have a party affiliation, it only published Clinton-related emails because it did not have any hacked emails from Trump or other candidates. He argued that WikiLeaks had made Americans "better informed."
