TROY, N.Y. — New York Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Republican rival Joe DioGuardi are debating for a second time.
Thursday night's matchup in Troy comes six days after a spirited debate in New York City in which the two candidates sparred over health care, terror trials and each other's trustworthiness.
Polls show Gillibrand, a former congresswoman appointed to replace Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, with a wide lead over DioGuardi.
DioGuardi is a former congressman from Westchester County.
