Fiorina Says No 'Ill Will' for Clinton

Thursday, 12 November 2015 06:14 PM EST

Carly Fiorina says she bears no "ill will" to Hillary Rodham Clinton for not saying more to a man who told her he wants to strangle the Republican presidential candidate.

During an event for the Democratic presidential front runner Tuesday, Clinton laughed along with the audience and said, "I wouldn't mess with you."

The Clinton campaign has said the man was using a figure of speech and should not be taken literally.

Fiorina said Thursday that she bears the man and Clinton no ill will and criticized the media for a "double standard." Republican Donald Trump took heated criticism earlier this year for not pushing back against a man who said Muslims were the problem in America.
