John McCain's Democratic challenger is replacing his campaign manager.
Former Tucson City Councilman Rodney Glassman's campaign announced Monday that veteran Democratic strategist Bill Romjue will manage the campaign beginning Wednesday.
Romjue most recently ran the campaign of Andrew Romanoff, who unsuccessfully challenged incumbent U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet in Colorado's Democratic primary. Romjue replaces Patrick Mellody, who left "to pursue other opportunities."
Mellody is the fourth senior staffer to leave the Glassman campaign in recent months. The political, field and communications directors all left before the Aug. 24 primary.
Glassman spokeswoman Tina May says the departures reflect normal churn and it's common for campaigns to change managers after a primary.
