President Donald Trump opened a flurry of Tuesday tweeting with a nod toward the Justice Department inspector general's report concerning the "rigged witch hunt" against him.
Trump's tweet comes a day after Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz, author of the 500-page report that came out last week, and FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
"We found the implication that senior FBI employees would be willing to take official action to impact a presidential candidate's electoral prospects to be deeply troubling and antithetical to the core values of the FBI and the Department of Justice," Horowitz said in his opening remarks.
