President Donald Trump on Thursday touted the impending tax cuts legislation, tweeting they "are looking very good."
Trump's tweet comes the morning after he said Republicans are getting "very, very close" to putting a bill on his desk.
Reports surfaced Wednesday that House and Senate Republicans had agreed in principle to legislation. Conferees from both chambers have been in conference hammering out details and melding the two bills.
Later Wednesday, Trump gave a speech at the White House promising that the tax cuts bill will deliver Americans the "dream you want."
"We stand on the verge of a new economic miracle," Trump said. "If Congress sends me a tax reform bill, this is only a beginning. This is for the people of middle income, this is for companies that will create jobs. We're going to make our taxes work for you again."
