President Donald Trump gave a surprise shout-out to Campbell's Soup as he addressed the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland on Friday.

"Campbell's Soup … I like Campbell's Soup," Trump gushed about the 148-year-old Campbell Soup Company based in Camden, New Jersey.

The complimentary mention came as Trump spoke about his administration's ongoing meetings with the nation's businesses and industry as part of his push to stimulate job growth in the United States.

"We're taking meetings every day with top leaders in business, in science and industry. Yesterday, I had 29 of the biggest business leaders in the world in my office. Caterpillar Tractor, Campbell's Soup, we had everybody. We had everybody. I like Campbell's Soup," he said,

Campbell's — known for its slogan "Mm! Mm! Good! Mm! Mm! Good! That's what Campbell's are, mm, mm Good!" — saw its stock rise to $59.56 by 11:03 a.m., up from the previous close of $59.06.

By 12:15 p.m., the price had dropped had lowered to $59.42.

Trump has pulled companies in the past.

In January, he tweeted a thank-you to Linda Bean, heiress to Maine clothier L.L. Bean, after she got into hot water for over-contributing to a Pro-Trump PAC. And he encouraged Americans to buy from the company:
