Trump: Senate Dems 'Obstruct' My Nominees Because They 'Can't Win'

President Donald Trump blasted Senate Democrats  Tuesday for moving slowly to confirm his nominees for posts in his administration.

"The Senate Democrats have only confirmed 48 of 197 Presidential Nominees," he wrote on Twitter, moments after retweeting a "Fox & Friends" item about a segment it had aired on the subject. "They can't win so all they do is slow things down & obstruct!

The Fox News report was tied to a Wall Street Journal editorial blaming Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for a "blockade" on the confirmation of Trump nominees.
