Trump Congratulates Lesko on Arizona Victory

President Donald Trump took to Twitter Wednesday morning to congratulate Republican Debbie Lesko for winning the special election for a House seat from Arizona — and to blast the press for being "so silent" about it.

Lesko, a former state senator, defeated Hiral Tipirneni, a former emergency room physician, in Tuesday's vote.

Lesko replaces former Rep. Trent Franks, a Republican who resigned in December amid sexual misconduct allegations.
