Donald Trump had plenty of nice things to say about the Clintons, Sen. Nancy Pelosi, and other high-ranking Democrats during past appearances on Don Imus' radio show.
According to CNN, Trump — the Republican presidential nominee — heaped praise on the people he is now blasting during this contentious campaign that will end with next Tuesday's election.
During an April 2007 interview on "Imus in the Morning," Trump said Clinton is a "terrific woman."
"As you know, I mentioned that Hillary wanted to really get on your show," Trump said of Clinton, who was serving in the Senate at the time.
"She has a lot of respect for you, but it doesn't seem to be reciprocal. She's a terrific woman. She'd do your show gladly, but you don't seem to want, according to Bernard and according to watching you, you don't seem to want her on the show."
In February 2014, Trump was on the show again and spoke about former President Bill Clinton in a positive light.
"I watched Bill Clinton yesterday give a little speech, and people do like Bill Clinton. There's no question about it," Trump said. "I play golf with him and I like him. I mean, what's not to like?"
Trump also called Rep. Charlie Rangel "a great man" and said of Pelosi, a former House Speaker, "I think she's going to be terrific."
Trump has said that his position as a high-profile businessman required him to be nice to politicians on both sides of the aisle.
Trump is currently in a tight and ugly battle with Hillary Clinton for president. Trump has made up ground on Clinton in recent weeks and is now just 2 points behind with a week of campaigning left.
