Lara Trump said Thursday she’d welcome Hillary Clinton joining the 2020 presidential scrum.
In an interview Thursday on Fox News’ “The Story,” the president’s daughter-in-law and producer/host of Trump Productions' Real News Update, was asked about the possibility of the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee taking another shot at the White House.
“We would love to have her back in, we would love to beat her for a second time,” she said.
She also discounted that Clinton won the 2016 popular vote, saying “she thinks that [she won] but unfortunately the numbers and the electoral college vote do not reflect that, sadly for her.”
“If she wants to run, we are ready for it,” the former Inside Edition producer said.
She also declared it “an interesting idea” that Clinton’s vocal Democratic critic, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, have a place in the Trump administration.
“I know he’s pretty sure she’s not a Russian asset,” as Clinton has said, Lara Trump said. “We will have to see how things shake out."
