Donald Trump said Monday Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren has a "fresh mouth."
During a campaign stop in Roanoke, Va., Trump called out the liberal lawmaker and questioned her past remarks about being a
Native American.
"You don't have to go with Pocahontas," Trump said at a town hall, reports
The Hill. "She is the worst senator in the U.S. Senate.
"She's got a fresh mouth. Other than that, she's got nothing going."
Trump, who became the Republican Party's presidential nominee at the Cleveland convention last week, was also critical of Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine's place as Clinton's running mate.
"Hillary Clinton has bad judgment. She shouldn't have picked this guy," Trump said, according to The Hill. "He's the exact opposite of what all of the Bernie people want.
"You could have picked a liberal person. She could have had party unity. She didn't pick somebody representative of what's going on.
"We can't have another president with bad judgment."
On Friday after Clinton put Kaine on her ticket,
Trump slammed the move in a text message to his supporters.
"Tim Kaine is Hillary's VP pick. The ultimate insiders — Obama, Hillary, and Kaine," the message read.
"Don't let Obama have a 3rd Term. Contribute."
Clinton is expected to be named her party's presidential nominee at the Philadelphia convention this week, which began Monday with an
email scandal involving the Democrat National Committee.
