President Donald Trump will be traveling to Japan for the G20 summit during the Democratic presidential candidates' debate Wednesday night, but he said he'll be watching it even if it seems like it will be "very boring."
"It just seems very boring, but I'm going to watch it because I have to," the president told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo. "Do I want to watch it? Do I want to watch these people? It's a very unexciting group of people."
However, he didn't say if he'd be live-tweeting his responses as the first group of Democratic hopefuls takes the stage in Miami. Last week, The Wall Street Journal reported that sources said Trump was tentatively planning to live-tweet the events in real time.
Meanwhile, Trump panned former Vice President Joe Biden as a "lost soul" who is "changing his views very rapidly."
"He doesn't know he's alive," Trump said of Biden, who according to most polls is the frontrunner among Democratic candidates and who has amassed the most endorsements.
Trump also dismissed Biden's numbers, saying the former vice president "didn't get anything compared to what we did" in polling and fundraising this past week after he formally announced his campaign.
"We took in I think $28 million," said the president.
