House Oversight Chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., wants Environmental Protection Agency head Scott Pruitt to cough up additional records about his first-class traveling and a controversial condo rental agreement.

In a letter sent Wednesday, Gowdy wrote his panel had received "some responsive documents," but "the EPA has failed to produce all the documents requested" by the committee Feb. 20.

The data the panel has received so far is "insufficient to evaluate compliance with federal ethics rules," Gowdy wrote.

Pruitt has come under fire from Congress — and most recently, the Office of Government Ethics — over the sweetheart condo deal and travel expenditures, as well as reports staff members might have been transferred or demoted for questioning Pruitt's actions.
