President Donald Trump is the "king of chaos," Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, said Friday after news outlets reported that he used a vulgarity to describe Haiti and other African nations.
"He's not the president. He's the king of chaos, really," Ryan said on CNN's "New Day."
"When we were home over holiday break, the one word I heard more than anything else was 'exhausted.' People are so exhausted," Ryan said.
"There's all this drama that surrounds the president of the United States. It seems like every single day he's insulting. He's dividing," the congressman said.
"What we saw with this comment yesterday, I think, reveals to a lot of people, you know, if you're not a billionaire, you don't live in a gold-plated Trump Tower, you're somehow inferior," Ryan added.
Trump denied that he used vulgarity in his comments.
