Police in East Los Angeles have detained a man after he posted a video to Instagram threatening to ''take out all these Democrats'' if Joe Biden was elected president, several outlets reported.

The man, who was not identified, has not been charged, Los Angeles ABC network affiliate KABC reported, which also said that he has said he was drunk at the time and not serious.

The FBI has said it was investigating and his home was pending a search, NBC network affiliate KNBC reported.

"The FBI is aware of the reported online threats and is working with our partners to investigate. The subject is currently being evaluated by state officials," the FBI said in a statement, according to KABC.

Federal officials said there was ''no known threat to public safety."

The man supposedly ranted into the video: ''If Biden gets in, I’m just going to do like a school shooter, just take out all these Democrats,'' TheHill.com reported.

The video has since been deleted and the man reportedly has posted a second video apologizing for the initial statement, saying he was sorry if he offended anyone.
