Washington Examiner Chief Congressional Correspondent Susan Ferrechio ripped CNN media reporter Brian Stelter during a recent BBC Radio 4 interview for not giving enough coverage to the Hunter Biden email story but defending the coverage of the disproven Russia collusion story involving President Donald Trump.
Ferrechio and Stelter were on a panel talking about the recent New York Post report showing that Hunter Biden connected his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to an executive at Burisma Holdings.
Stelter defended Hunter and Joe Biden, claiming, "Hunter Biden has apologized and acknowledged his poor judgment." He also said Joe Biden has "addressed it" as he heads down the home stretch of the presidential campaign.
"The bottom line is, it deserves scrutiny by all media outlets and if they pick and choose and decide it's not worth their time, I think that's showing real bias," Ferrechio said. "I think everybody deserved to look at the [Robert] Mueller stuff and everyone should look at this and give Biden the scrutiny that, you know, he's not running for president of the glee club, he's running for the president of the United States and this is serious.
"This is not last year's news," Ferrechio added. "It's whether or not his son was coordinating to get him to talk to these Ukraine oligarchs and he was benefiting from it. It's really dirty and it needs to be looked at."
