A super PAC that supports Hillary Clinton's run for the presidency is using Donald Trump's words against him in a pro-Clinton campaign video.
Priorities USA launched the "We Can Stop Hate" campaign with two videos on the website
WeCanStopHate.com.
One video is a montage of the likely Republican presidential nominee's comments about immigrants, gay people, African-Americans, and Muslims, including controversial comments Trump has made about Megyn Kelly, and about "going through the roof" when he comes home and dinner is not ready.
A
second video is an interview with Dante Lachman, age 17, who survived spinal-cord cancer and now walks with a limp. The video pointed out when Trump made fun of a disabled reporter.
"I don't want a president who makes fun of me. I want a president who inspires me. That's not Donald Trump," Lachman said in the video.
The Washington Post reports that the super PAC will spend $500,000 aiming at young voters in eight swing states.
The ads are part of a $147 million TV, radio and online campaign.
Trump's comments have also caused poor relations for him in other countries. He opened a golf course in Scotland, and has not been supported by its residents.
Time reports that Stan Blackley, a resident of Edinburgh, said, "He's notoriously disliked here. When he comes, we can almost feel the hair up the spine of Scotland stand up."
