President Joe Biden's continued focus on a climate change agenda, raising the federal minimum wage, and opening up the borders amid a coronavirus pandemic is a misappropriation, according to Trump economist Stephen Moore.
"My advice to Joe Biden is put the economy first – c'mon! Put the economy first, put the health crisis first," Moore told Sunday's "The Cats Roundtable" on WABC 770 AM-N.Y., per The Hill.
"There has not been an appropriate focus on getting Americans back to work."
While Biden is pushing another $1.9 trillion coronavirus aid package, he is seeking to damage the economy and "destroy jobs," while propping it up by printing money, Moore lamented.
"I don't get it; I don't get why we're canceling the [Keystone] XL pipeline," Moore told host John Catsimatidis. "That's jobs.
"Those are not $15-an-hour jobs, folks. Those are $60, $70, $80 an-hour-jobs."
The move will also unwind former President Donald Trump's progress in making America energy independent, reducing the influence of foreign oil, specifically the Middle East.
"The problem is if," Moore says, "we're not pumping it here and in Canada, then we're going to have to import it from countries like Saudi Arabia."
