Angle Says She May Run Again

Sharron Angle, the tea-party-backed Republican who fell a bit short in her bid to knock off Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Nevada’s Senate race this month, sounds like she’s ready to make a run for Congress two years from now. Angle says she may compete for the state's 2nd District seat if incumbent Republican Rep. Dean Heller steps up to run against incumbent Republican Sen. John Ensign in 2012, The Hill reports.

“I will always be involved in politics. I have a lot of options next cycle,” Angle tells the Lahontan Valley (Nev.) News. “Lots of options.” She barely lost a 2006 primary race against Heller to replace Republican Rep. Jim Gibbons, who ran for governor.
