Despite President Donald Trump's insistence that he will not concede the election, Secret Service agents are now being asked if they're interested in transferring to Palm Beach, Florida — the site of his official residence, the Mar-a-Lago resort.

ABC News noted the Miami field office for the Secret Service has sought out interest in a move to Palm Beach from those agents currently in Trump's detail. And the network news also reported that renovations have started to living quarters expected to be occupied by Trump and first lady Melania Trump at his resort. Sources described the work as “updates” to the living quarters.

"For operational security reasons, the Secret Service does not discuss specifically or in general terms the means, methods or resources we utilize to carry out our protective mission," a spokesman for the Secret Service said.

A Trump Organization spokesperson declined comment.

Trump declared Mar-a-Lago his official residence last year. He and his wife voted as residents of Palm Beach in the general election, the South Florida Sun Sentinel said.
