Former White House staffer Sebastian Gorka said Wednesday that he predicts President Donald Trump will keep criticizing members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
Trump has repeatedly complained that NATO members besides the United States fail to pay their fair share on defense.
"The swamp isn't just an American phenomenon," Gorka, Trump’s former deputy assistant, said on Fox News’ "Fox & Friends."
He added that German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s coalition will soon collapse due to her immigration policy.
"Saying, 'We have no borders, let everybody in, it doesn't matter,' that has consequences, and not just national security consequences but political ones," Gorka said.
"If you don't know the identity of who's coming into you country, guess what? Terrorists will use that, and they've done it."
