Santorum 'Obamaville' Ad Paints Grim Portrait of 2014 if He's Re-elected

Monday, 26 March 2012 09:41 AM EDT

The first of a new series of Web ads from the Rick Santorum campaign paints a grim and nearly post-apocalyptic image of what American will become if President Barack Obama were re-elected.

The ad, titled “Obamaville,” features dire music, empty streets, creaky, unused playground equipment, infants and grim narration to illustrate what 2014 will be like.

Santorum adviser John Brabender told CNN that the ad “will illustrate how radically life will change for the average American when we have out-of-control gas prices, the full impact of Obamacare, and the daily nightmare of a nuclear-armed Iran," the Los Angeles Times reported.
