Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates slammed President Donald Trump on Monday for his latest attacks on the Justice Department and the FBI.
Yates, who was fired soon after Trump entered the White House over a dispute regarding his immigration ban, sent out a tweet defending those who work at the agencies.
Her tweet came in response to one sent out earlier in the day by the president.
Republicans in the House, saying they were concerned about allegations of bias within the Department of Justice, recently subpoenaed the DOJ for documents in connection with the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, according to Mediaite.
