Republican Fla. senatorial candidate Marco Rubio will appear with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele for a “victory rally” fundraiser in Orlando this weekend,
CNN reports.

Palin and Rubio are favorites of the tea party movement, and Rubio leads in polling, thanks in part to Charlie Crist’s independent run splitting votes among Florida Democrats.
A similar RNC rally featuring Palin and Steele in Anaheim, Calif., was skipped by that state’s Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman and Republican senatorial candidate Carly Fiorina, who cited scheduling conflicts.
Palin was a popular figure in Florida during the 2008 presidential campaign, and President Obama carries an approval rating in the state of only 40 percent.
Tickets for the Saturday event, to be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott, run between $20 and over $120. For $950, attendees can have an opportunity to meet Palin.
