Ric Grenell to Newsmax TV: Dems Oppose Transparency Because They Like Controlling Info

By    |   Tuesday, 10 November 2020 02:05 PM EST

Ric Grenell, the former acting Director of National Intelligence, told Newsmax TV on Tuesday that Democrats “don’t like transparency because they like controlling the information from Washington.”

Grenell, who left President Donald Trump’s Cabinet in May, asked on “John Bachman Now,” “Why is it that the left doesn't want transparency? Transparency is not political and it shouldn't be a political, something in Washington that is very rare. But … This is the pattern where the Democrats in Washington, D.C. want to shut everything down when we’re getting close to information. They don’t like transparency because they like controlling the information from Washington.”

He added, “We see it in Nevada, we see it across in all these other states. Where they are literally just saying, you know, ‘shut up, go away, we won and don't look under the hood. And I think that that's a very dangerous situation.”
