Republicans continue to build their fund-raising advantages over Democrats. The Republican Governors Association drew a hefty $31 million in the third quarter, 200 percent more than the Democratic Governors Association,
Politico reports.

RGA Executive Director
Nick Ayers (pictured) announced the haul on Twitter. The RGA has raised a total of $59 million so far this year and still has $31.5 million of dry powder. The third-quarter inflow more than tripled the second-quarter total of just under $19 million.
The cash infusion includes “no foreign money,” Ayers hastened to add. “In 17 states we have spent more than $1 million. In 9 states we have spent more than $3 million. 6 states more than $5 million.”
The Democratic Governors Association revealed last week that it raised $10 million in the third quarter, leaving it with $13 million cash on hand.
