Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is delaying a vote on the GOP healthcare bill until after the July 4 recess, multiple news outlets are reporting.

CNN reported McConnell informed Republican senators he wants to make changes to the bill and get a new Congressional Budget Office score.

Republican leadership had been pushing hard to get a vote before the recess. Republicans, who hold a 52-48 majority in the Senate, could only afford to lose two votes and still get the bill passed. However, according to CNN, the bill was teetering on the edge.
