A House Republican from Georgia told fellow lawmakers on Friday that the Affordable Care Act is like a goat destructively rampaging through a house.
"A little over six years ago, I lived in a pretty decent house. One day I heard a knock on the door. Before I knew it my colleagues from the other side of the aisle have let a goat loose in my house," said Rep. Drew Ferguson, according to The Washington Examiner.
"[That goat] has been messing in and destroying my house. I want to renovate my house, but before I can I have to get the goat out of the house before it does any more damage."
His comments came as lawmakers debated a budget resolution that would allow them to start replacing the Affordable Care Act.
