Two small caucuses in Reno decided their winners in a true Nevada style: with high-card draws from a deck of cards.
Ross Armstrong, told CNN that both precincts represented by caucuses at Echo Loder Elementary School in Reno are very small and have just one delegate each to award, so they didn't have the viability rule to worry about.
In one of the precincts, the three caucusgoers were divided with one each supporting Pete Buttigieg and two early voters who voted for Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, meaning there was a three-way tie for the single delegate in play.
"Because there were no in-person reps for Bernie or Warren, we just went to the caucus next door to find supports to pull the cards," Armstrong said.
Warren ended up winning the precinct's district with the jack of hearts. Sanders pulled a four of clubs and Pete Buttigieg pulled a three of diamonds.
In the other precinct, one caucusgoer supported Vice President Joe Biden, whose card turned out to be a seven of clubs, but Buttigieg won the district with an eight of spades.
