Former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus will be returning to his old law firm in Wisconsin and embarking on the paid speakers circuit, Politico reported Tuesday.
Priebus will become president and chief strategist at Michael Best and Friedrich LLP, where he worked before going to work for the Republican National Committee six years ago.
He will head up the law firm's government affairs group where he'll do consulting work for corporate clients, but will not work as a lobbyist and won't work for foreign governments, he told Politico.
Priebus said he wants to help his clients work with President Donald Trump, Congress and government agencies based on his past experience.
"I look forward to continuing to work with friends and colleagues and assist them in maneuvering through politics, politicians and courtrooms," he said.
Priebus also has paid speeches set in New York and London after speaking last week in South Korea. His talks will focus on Trump, Congress and politics. He declined to share his speaking fee.
