Hillary Clinton has a 5-point lead nationally over Donald Trump, a new survey shows.

Rasmussen Reports poll of likely U.S. voters — its first taken since the June 12 terrorist shooting in Orlando, Fla. — breaks down this way:
- Clinton: 44 percent
- Trump: 39 percent
- Another candidate: 11 percent
- Undecided: 6 percent.
Among voters who support stricter gun control, Clinton has 74 percent support; Trump polls with 68 percent of the vote from those who don't see gun control as a preventative measure, the survey shows.
The poll also finds 80 percent of Democrats support Clinton, while Trump has the backing of 70 percent of Republicans.
The survey's margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
