President Donald Trump will visit Iowa next week to hold a campaign rally, The Hill reported.
The event will take place in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, June 1, at the DoubleTree By Hilton Cedar Rapids Convention Complex at 7 p.m. Trump returns to the U.S. this Sunday following his nine-day trip abroad to Saudi Arabia, Israel, Vatican City, and Belgium.
Trump visited Cedar Rapids last October days before he was elected president. Cedar City, located in Linn County, picked Hillary Clinton over Trump, 50.3 percent to 41.3 percent, but the state of Iowa voted Republican for the first time since 2004.
Vice President Mike Pence will also be in Iowa next week, when he makes an appearance at Sen. Joni Ernst's "Roast and Ride" fundraising event June 3, according to The Gazette.
