Quinnipiac Poll: Trump Approval Hits 1-Year High of 41 Percent

President Donald Trump's approval rating has hit a one-year high of 41 percent, according to the latest Quinnipiac University National Poll.

As of April 10:

  • 41 percent approve of Trump's job performance;
  • 52 percent disapprove.

The last time Trump's approval rating topped 40 percent was in the poll released March 7, 2017. When asked to rate Trump on issues:

  • 39 percent approve of his foreign policy; 55 percent disapprove;
  • 42 percent approve of his immigration policies; 55 percent disapprove;
  • 40 percent approve of his trade policies; 52 percent disagree.

Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,181 registered voters nationwide from April 6-9, with a margin of error of +/- 3.4 percentage points.
