The pro-Obamacare group Protect Our Care released on Monday a TV ad that says President Donald Trump’s choice to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy would take aim at protections for those with pre-existing conditions.

"President Donald Trump has already gone to court to overturn healthcare protections for people with pre-existing conditions; 130 million Americans have pre-existing conditions like cancer, diabetes, and asthma. Now Trump and Mitch McConnell have a plan to install a Supreme Court justice who will overturn those protections," the ad says.

The ad urges viewers to call their senator and tell them to reject any candidate who favors overturning the pre-existing condition protections.

Versions of the ad are airing in Maine and Alaska, and those ads instruct viewers to contact Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska.

They opposed repealing Obamacare last year, along with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the Washington Examiner reported.
