Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has a strong advantage over his Republican opponent, Rep. Jim Renacci, though many voters remain undecided in the Ohio Senate race, according to the latest poll from Gravis Marketing.
Brown, who was first elected in 2006, garnered 46 percent in the poll, which asked respondents who they would vote for if the election were held today. Renacci, who was first elected in 2010, managed only 37 percent, with 17 percent undecided. Brown holds strong support among Democrats, over 80 percent, while Renacci lags behind in support from his own party, which is below 70 percent.
Gravis polled 789 likely voters in Ohio from October 29-30, with a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
