Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., has fallen behind her Republican challenger, Josh Hawley, in the latest poll from Emerson College.
In a survey of just over 700 people, Emerson found that Hawley edges out McCaskill, 49 percent to 46 percent, with only 3 percent undecided.
The poll also found that President Donald Trump is more liked than disliked in the state, with 47 percent giving him a favorable rating and 46 percent unfavorable, and that a majority support the ballot initiative legalizing medicinal marijuana, 63 percent to 27 percent, and the measure raising the minimum wage to $12 per hour, 60 percent to 31 percent.
Emerson surveyed 732 voters from Nov. 1-3, with a margin of error of +/-3.8 percentage points.
