Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who has promoted QAnon conspiracy theories, is more popular than Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., among Republicans and GOP leaners, a new Axios-SurveyMonkey poll reveals.
Here are how the poll results break down:
- Greene had a net favorability of plus 10%. 28% of Republicans and GOP leaners had a favorable opinion of her, compared to 18% who were unfavorable.
- Cheney had a net favorability rating of minus 28%. 14% had a favorable impression of her compared to 42% had were unfavorable.
- House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., had a net favorability of plus 22%. 38% favorable and 16% unfavorable.
- Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., had a net favorability of minus 15%. 31% favorable and 46% unfavorable.
The poll, conducted Feb. 1-2, surveyed 1,024 people identified as Republicans or Republican-leaning. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
