Much has been made of Hillary Clinton's presumptive nomination being a "historic" feat as the first woman to ever be a major party's nominee. However, only 38 percent of Americans agree with that, according to a Vox/Morning Consult poll.

A majority of men, women and millennials do not consider it historic:
  • 58 percent of women overall
  • 67 percent of men overall
  • 71 percent of Millennials
  • 62 percent of everyone polled
The one demographic that thinks it to be historic is female Democrats, at 58 percent.

The poll surveyed 1,362 registered voters.
