PPP: 61% of Voters Want Trump to Release Tax Returns

Sixty-one percent of voters say President Donald Trump should release his tax returns, while 32 percent believe he should not, according to a survey by Public Policy Polling.

Here is how the poll breaks down:

• 43 percent approve of Trump's job performance, while 50 percent disapprove.
• 41 percent say they have a favorable opinion of Trump, compared to 52 percent who do not.
• 63 percent believe Trump should fully divest himself from his business interest, while 26 percent do not think he should.
• 52 percent say they would rather Barack Obama be president, while 43 percent favor Trump.
• 27 percent believe Trump's claims that Barack Obama tapped his phones during the election, compared to 56 percent who don't believe them.
• 44 percent support impeaching Trump, while 45 percent are opposed to it.
• 47 percent say they would support Oprah Winfrey if she ran against Trump, while 40 percent would back the president.

Public Policy Polling surveyed 808 registered voters from March 1-12. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.4 percent.
