Republican Donald Trump leads Democrat Hillary Clinton by just one point in Georgia in the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News/Marist presidential poll.
That is within the poll's 3.7 percent margin of error for that state.
Among likely voters in the Peach State:
- Trump: 45 percent
- Clinton: 44 percent
Trump has a more comfortable lead in Arizona and Texas just five days out from Tuesday's election, according to the poll.
Arizona:
- Trump: 45 percent
- Clinton: 40 percent
Texas:
- Trump: 49 percent
- Clinton: 40 percent
The polls were conducted Sunday through Tuesday, after the announcement by FBI Director James Comey on Friday that more emails were being looked into as part of the bureau's probe on Clinton's use of a private email server for her work as secretary of State.
All three states in the polls have voted for Republicans in presidential elections for the past several cycles, but demographic changes have had Democrats eyeing them this time around.
The surveys included the equivalent of 719 likely voters in Arizona, 707 in Georgia and 679 in Texas, according to the Journal . The margins of error were plus or minus 3.7 percentage points in Arizona and Georgia and 3.8 in Texas.
