The Senate race in Connecticut is safely in the hands of incumbent Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., who leads Republican Matthew Corey by 20 points, according to the latest Emerson College poll.
Sen. Murphy is favored by 55 percent, while Corey drew just 35 percent, with 7 percent undecided.
The RealClear Politics analysis has the race "safe Dem" and other polls have Sen. Murphy leading from 15 to 20 points.
Emerson College polled 780 potential voters between Oct- 27-29 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.
