The
Philadelphia Inquirer, the largest-circulation newspaper in Pennsylvania, on Sunday endorsed Democrat Joe Sestak
(pictured) in his campaign for the Senate against Pat Toomey.

Sestak has “moderate, reasonable ideas for promoting clean energy and providing small businesses with incentives to create more jobs,” the Inquirer declares, and in the Senate, his views “would be much more in line with most Pennsylvanians.”
Republican Toomey, the paper acknowledges, “has a grasp of economic issues, and advocates less government across the board.”
