President Donald Trump on Wednesday mocked critics who said fighting back was obstruction, and reiterated "there's been no collusion whatsoever," with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.
"You fight back, oh, it's obstruction," Trump said.
The president made the comments to a group of reporters who were meeting with White House chief of staff John Kelly at the White House.
FBI special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating Russia's efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election and whether there was any coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign and wants to speak to Trump regarding his decisions to fire former FBI director James Comey and former national security adviser Michael Flynn, according to The Washington Post.
Trump said he is "looking forward" to meeting with Mueller, and "we're going to find out" whether Trump gets a fair shake during the investigation.
